School Gardens

If you ever want to do some volunteering, you should consider helping the Springfield Urban Agriculture Coalition. I went over to Delaware School where they are putting up a hoophouse and beds for the schools gardens. 21 really nice people were there working and I’m sure Mel and Lucy would find something for you to help with. I will be working at the Rountree School Garden when they get that one going this spring. Kids learning where their food comes from and how to grow it is one of the most important goals for the future of Springfield. I’m sure that they would take donations too!
