Peeping out of the crate is our new wood cookstove! She arrived unharmed and weighing 520 lbs. Todd and a few other young studly guys are going to come over to deposit her in the dining room so we can uncrated and admire her. I was searching the internet for companies that make stainless steel water jackets for it so we can produce hot water during the winter and have found several that will work.
We are also making forward progress on the cisterns project. Tiffany from James River Basin is incredible and is making great steps forward in finding out the cities rules and codes for this kind of project. It is also a learning experience for the city depts too, this is all new stuff for them and hopefully the next time someone wants to do this they will have an easier path to follow, both for them and the city employees.
