It seems like a most of the time we are in a holding pattern on our projects and then all of a sudden there is a big lurch and we make forward progress. Yesterday was one of those days. Jeff Barber was instrumental in getting our electric car donated to the engineering school at Rolla. This picture is of some of the Solar team at Rolla accepting the car for use in the solar village. I had a great time, we had Alex’s pizza and talked geeky solar talk., they are doing some great things there.
Another thing that happened was we now have a permit in hand for the first legal residential rainwater catchment system in the city of Springfield. We will be using the water for flushing toilets, washing clothes, and irrigation. Stuart Murr and crew will start on the installation next week, weather permitting of course.
